One of the most striking discoveries made by divers was a virtually intact silk satin dress with a woven floral motif [1126x1189] WebbJust of the coast of Texel, below the sea, lies the shipwreck ‘Het Palmhoutwrak’ ( The Palmwood wreck) from the 17th century. This wreck is filled with beautiful treasures deserving of a proper showcase at the Museum Kaap Skil on Texel. The people of the museum Kaap Skil asked me to design a bidbook for this.

However, new evidence has since been gleaned from the ship's wreckage, including the possibility that the Palmwood ship didn't even set sail until 1645.
