To the right, the slide housing hits the top of the fence at 45 degrees. This may cause problems if I ever have to make this cut. WebChecking continuity across the switch with trigger pulled (WITH SAW UNPLUGGED) tells you if it's the switch. You could pop open the switch to look inside but there's not much you can do except see how they work and why they have a lifespan.
