WebFeb 9, 2008 · tape didn't help, rubber washers didn't help and forget Hylomar, it won't work. put Seal-all on the threads, with the lock nut already in place,screw it into the tank, when you have it where you want it, (gentely) snug up the lock nut and LEAVE IT ALONE FOR 24 HOURS. this WILL solve your problem.
