Cisco access point blinking red and green
WebAug 7, 2024 · Hi, I have a Cisco AP 2802i and I have installed the Mobility Express however the AP LED's is still flashing (Blue, Red and green). I was reading and found out that these flashes mean that the AP is attempting to discover a WLC. I was under the impression that the AP will become the WLC once Mobilty Express is installed. WebMar 14, 2024 · According to the doc of the 2800, the red/green means "Discovery/join process in progress". However, I'm not able to see them on CDP. No matter if the AP's join the WLC or not I should be able to see them on CDP? If it's the cabling that is the problem here, how come the older AP's worked?
